Spring wedding at the Publick house in Sturbridge MA, with Lea Jones
I started this wedding season with an absolutely beautiful couple getting married at the Publick House in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The wedding was perfect not only because the weather was beautiful and the sun came out and gave us a warm sunny day ( definitely a gamble in April!), but more than anything Olivia and Michael’s happiness & joy was shining through every moment. Olivia was the most prepared bride I have ever seen ( hello? she even brought electrolytes for her bridesmaids and had every emergency item one could need!) , and it allowed her to be relaxed and enjoy every moment. I don’t think she even noticed when we were running behind schedule, or when we had a few time crunches. My second photographer Serena from Serena Burroughs photography absolutely delivered! we have worked so many weddings together that we know what each other are thinking and easily flow together, giving us both room and time to be creative.
As I am writing, I realized I never shared Olivia and Michael’s beautiful engagement session in the Brookfield Meadows. I will have to remedy that soon!
We finished the day with some fun flash photography in the Publick House’s library. Couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to finish. The bonus being that I live 50 yards from the Publick House in the Historic Center of Sturbridge. I LOVED the commute home.
