Engagement session with Massachusetts wedding photographer Lea Jones

As promised, here is the engagement session of the beautiful spring wedding we had in April at the Publick House in Sturbridge Massachusetts.

I love doing the engagement sessions before the wedding, it helps me to get to know the couple, it also helps the couple to know me and not be nervous for their wedding photos. They quickly discover that I will put them at ease and make it fun. It’s also a way for me to discover which prompts or poses work best for for the couple. Everyone is so different that I never just duplicate poses, I want their personalities to shine through, so getting to know couples is essential to me.
